Abstract
In the present research work, statistical data of new students are shown, as well as graduates of the three careers offered by the Higher School of Chemical Engineering and Extractive Industries (ESIQIE); these are Metallurgy and Materials Engineering (IMM), Industrial Chemical Engineering (IQI) and Petroleum Chemical Engineering (IQP), comparing data obtained from the National Association of Universities and Institutions of Higher Education (ANUIES). Based on the data collected, the percentages of graduates can be obtained with respect to new students, of the three careers, having among other observations a lower percentage in the IQI career, which paradoxically is the one with the largest population at its entrance.
The statistic is related to the research carried out on students entering the three careers and their stay in the first semester of the career. The results obtained with the support of the validation instruments worked online (questionnaires) applied to students of the Department of Basic Training of the ESIQIE are shown, the first graduate; "Initial questionnaire of the Department of Basic Training of the ESIQIE, period January-June 2020-2"; applied in the second half of March and the second questionnaire entitled; "Questionnaire at the ESIQIE, at the end of the 2020-2 semester", which was carried out at the end of the 2020-2 school period after the extraordinary evaluation.
Resumen
En el presente trabajo de investigación se muestran datos estadísticos de estudiantes de nuevo ingreso, así como de egresados de las tres carreras que ofrece la Escuela Superior de Ingeniería Química e Industrias Extractivas (ESIQIE); estas son Ingeniería en Metalurgia y Materiales (IMM), Ingeniería Química Industrial (IQI) e Ingeniería Química Petrolera (IQP), comparando datos obtenidos de la Asociación Nacional de Universidades e Instituciones de Educación Superior (ANUIES). Con base en los datos recabados, se pueden obtener los porcentajes de alumnos egresados con respecto a los alumnos de nuevo ingreso, de las tres carreras, teniéndose entre otras observaciones un menor porcentaje en la carrera de IQI, que paradójicamente es la de mayor población a su ingreso.
Se relaciona el estadístico con la investigación efectuada a los estudiantes que ingresan a las tres carreras y su estadía en el primer semestre de la carrera. Se muestran los resultados obtenidos con apoyo de los instrumentos de validación trabajados en línea (cuestionarios) aplicados a estudiantes del Departamento de Formación Básica de la ESIQIE el primero titulado; “Cuestionario inicial del Departamento de Formación Básica la ESIQIE, periodo enero-junio 2020-2”; aplicado en la segunda quincena de marzo y el segundo cuestionario titulado; “Cuestionario en la ESIQIE, al cierre del semestre 2020-2”, el cual se llevó a cabo al final del periodo escolar 2020-2 después de la evaluación extraordinaria.
