This paper is based upon my research during the delivery of modules in the pandemic in which face to face teaching was suspended and the assessment regimes of modules were changed in order to enable students to engage with online writing tasks in the Moodle VLE. By doing this the students were given frequent opportunities to receive formative feedback on their writing. A post module interview with the students and a survey of their final essay performance was used to determine whether and how the students found this helpful in improving their academic writing and what might be improved in the design and delivery of modules in future.
Esta ponencia se basa en mi investigación durante la entrega de módulos en la pandemia en la que se suspendió la enseñanza presencial y se cambiaron los regímenes de evaluación de los módulos para permitir que los estudiantes participen en tareas de escritura en línea utilizando el Moodle entorno de enseñanza virtual. Al hacer esto, los estudiantes tuvieron oportunidades frecuentes de recibir retroalimentación formativa sobre su escritura. Se utilizó una entrevista posterior al módulo con los estudiantes y una encuesta sobre el desempeño de su ensayo final para determinar si los estudiantes encontraron esto útil para mejorar su escritura académica y cómo se podría mejorar en el diseño y la entrega de módulos en el futuro.
