This article highlights the role of the science and the necessity to influence on the enterprises from the condition of this municipality. Guidelines are presented showing how to achieve the links between them from a reengineering, which isassociate to the university management in favor of this municipality´s sustainable development. That´s why, there is a necessityto rebuild the university-enterprise relationship as powerful exponents where they can not only be limited to the professional’s formation the municipality needs, but they can also pay to the individual and collective well-being.
Se resalta el papel de la ciencia y la necesidad de influir en las empresas del territorio desde esa conexión entre la universidad y la empresa desde el contexto de la Isla de la Juventud en su condición de municipio. Se precisan líneas directrices que precisan el cómo hacer para lograr estos vínculos desde una reingeniería asociada a la gestión universitaria a favor del desarrollo sostenible de nuestro entorno municipal. Por lo tanto, emerge una necesidad de reconstrucción de los vínculos universidad-empresa como exponentes potenciales que no solo se limiten a la formación de los profesionales que necesita el territorio, sino que tributen al bienestar individual y colectivo.
