The revolutionary conquests in Cuba, and the development of the country, requires the revolutionary educational process in tune with contemporary demands. Hence the need to strengthen the social image of the teacher, not always achieved and in which the union incidence is not exempted, because with all that has been advanced, the action of the union organization in this process is still insufficient. The investigation is aimed at specifying a strategy to achieve efficient union work, defending the social image of teachers.
Las conquistas revolucionarias en Cuba, y el desarrollo del país, exige del proceso educacional revolucionario a tono con las exigencias contemporáneas. De ahí la necesidad de fortalecer la imagen social del maestro, no siempre lograda y en lo cual no está exonerada la incidencia sindical, pues con todo lo avanzado aún hoy es insuficiente el accionar de la organización sindical en este proceso. La investigación está encaminada a precisar una estrategia para lograr una eficiente labor sindical, con la defensa de la imagen social de los maestros.
